This Policy of Terms and Conditions of Use and Purchase establishes the rules and conditions applicable to purchases made on the e-commerce platform of MAXIMUS DIST. DE EQUIP. AUTOMOTIVOS LTDA, ensuring transparency in payment methods, terms, cancellations, and refunds.
Payment Methods
The e-commerce of MAXIMUS may make the following payment methods available:
- Credit card (according to the conditions presented at the time of purchase)
- Pix
- Bank slip
- Other payment methods that may become available on the platform
All transactions go through verification and security systems for fraud prevention.
Payment Confirmation
The processing time for payment confirmation may vary depending on the chosen method:
Credit card
Confirmation is usually immediate, and may take up to 48 hours in the event of an anti-fraud analysis.
Pix
Confirmation is usually immediate after the completion of the transaction.
Bank slip
It may take up to 3 business days after payment for confirmation.
Order processing and product shipment will only occur after payment confirmation.
Order Cancellation
Order cancellation may occur in the following situations:
- Customer request before shipment of the product
- Lack of payment confirmation
- Suspicion of fraud identified by the security system
- Product out of stock
If payment has already been made, a refund will be processed as described in this policy.
Right of Withdrawal
According to Article 49 of the Consumer Defense Code, the customer may withdraw from the online purchase within up to 7 calendar days after receiving the product.

- It must be in its original packaging

Exchanges and Returns due to Defects
If the product presents a manufacturing defect, the customer may request an exchange or return within the legal period of up to 30 days for non-durable products and 90 days for durable products, as provided for in the Consumer Defense Code.

Refund Process
After approval of the return, the refund will be carried out according to the payment method used:

The chargeback will be requested from the card issuer and may appear on the statement within up to 2 billing cycles, in accordance with the card administrator’s policy.
Pix
The refund will be made to the same account used for payment within up to 5 business days after approval of the return.
Bank slip
The refund will be made via bank transfer to the account indicated by the customer within up to 10 business days after approval.
Conditions for Accepting the Return
The return may not be accepted if:
- The product shows signs of misuse
- It is not in its original packaging
- Accessories or components are missing
- The legal return period has expired
In these cases, the product may be returned to the customer.
Shipping Costs on Returns
Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the company in cases of:
- Defective product
- Product different from what was requested
In cases of withdrawal of purchase, the shipping cost may be the responsibility of the customer, according to the analysis of the request.
